How to change DNS settings? Windows
- Step #1: Right-click on the network icon at the bottom right of the screen and open “Network and Internet Settings”.
- Step #2: On the screen that appears, open the “Change adapter options” menu.
- Step #3: In the “Network Connections” tab that opens, find your own network, right-click and select properties.
- Step #4: Click on “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)” and press the Properties button.
- Step #5: Check “Use the following DNS server addresses” and type the Domain Name Server addresses in the boxes.
- Step #6: Click the OK button and save the settings.(Optional) Open the command line and type the “ipconfig /flushdns” command.
- Let us remind you before explaining this process. This process only takes effect on the computer you are making changes to. You will need to do the same process on different computers.
How to change iOS DNS settings?
- Step #1: Enter the Wi-Fi section from the Settings menu.
- Step #2: Select the “i” icon next to the Wi-Fi connection you are connected to.
- Step #3: In the DNS section under the DHCP tab, enter the DNS servers you want.
- Place a comma, without spaces, between the primary and secondary DNS servers.
How to change Android DNS settings?
There are many Domain Name Server programs on Android phones with which you can easily change your DNS address without having to deal with the steps below. If you want to change it without using an additional program, you can follow the steps below.
- Step #1: Enter the wireless connection menu from the Settings menu.
- Step #2: Press and hold on the wireless network you are connected to and select “Change Network” from the options that appear.
- Step #3: Check the “Show advanced settings” option in the list that appears.
- Step #4: Select the “Static” option in the new menu that will appear.
- Step #5: Enter your preferred DNS servers in the DNS 1 and DNS 2 fields.
- Step #6: Save and exit.
